As major reconstruction of the I5, one of Orange County's major freeways, was in preplanning the Orange County Transit Authority was notably aware of the traffic it would cause. Drivers needed to know when closures of on and off-ramps were occurring as well as planned slowdowns. This prototype progressive web app was proposed as a cost-effective alternative to an expensive large-scale app that would alert drivers to traffic interruptions for the duration of the project.
